5 Ways to Check If You Are Hacked

In this post I am going to tell You 5 ways in which you can check if you are hacked.
Just follow along and check all the steps, you might also be one of the victims.
NOTE:- Before doing these steps, close all the downloads and web pages. Make sure on torrent of window update install is going on but stay connected to internet.
1) The first method is very simple for all the people using an ADSL router. After all the internet downloads are closed, just check the status of Ethernet light. It should not blink at a very fast rate. It shows that packets are being transferred in and out of your computer.
But as there is no active download or internet activity so no packets should transfer. If so… you might be hacked
2) goto run and type cmd. The command prompt will open. In the command prompt type
netstat -a
This shows the list of active internet connections, check if any unnecessary internet connection is ESTABLISHED. If so, you might be hacked

if you type just netstat, you will get the list of all the netstat commands, you may try the other commands as well.
3) You notice any abnormal activity in your computer, like your computer hangs for a couple of seconds every time you switch it on or in between your tasks (if it occurs often), there is a chance that you are hacked. Often keyloggers and trojans are configured to deliver all the log information to the destination ip address/ ftp address after reqular interval of time. And when this information is being sent, the browser hangs for some time.
4) Use softwares like TCP view, it gives the list of all the connections made through TCP. This software is capable of detecting almost all the trojan/malicious connections.
5) Keep the antivirus updated and install an external firewall like comodo. If your antivirus is not updated regularly, it is as good as nothing. If you don’t update your antivirus reqularly and often exchange data from other computers and download a lot of files. There is a great possibility that you are hacked.

How To Create an auto PC Locker

Whenever you are working on your PC on some important project and have to leave somewhere urgently, I am sure you don’t go before locking your PC , Do you?

Though it sucked when everytime I (http://techfirm.tk) had to log off everytime to lock my PC. Its a very slow process and I hate my machine working slow. And as we all know that necessity is the mother of invention , I came up with a pretty cool solution of this problem and just loved the outcome:D

Here in this post I’l tell you how to create your own auto PC Locker and lock your PC just by a Double Click.

NOTE:- You must require a possword on Start up for this (no matter admin or user)

Well The method is pretty simple

Open Notepad copy and paste the script below and save it .VBS extention
This wil create a shortcut (on desktop).. run(click) it

set WshShell = WScript.CreateObject(“WScript.Shell”)
set oShellLink = WshShell.CreateShortcut(wshShell.SpecialFolders(“Desktop”) & “\LockWorkstation.lnk”)
oShellLink.TargetPath = “%windir%\system32\rundll32.exe”
oShellLink.Arguments = “user32.dll,LockWorkStation”
oShellLink.Save

How to Hack Software and run Trial Program Forever

We can run any trial software for ever.

Most of us are familiar with many softwares that run only for a specified period of time in the trial mode. Once the trial period is expired these softwares stop functioning and demand for a purchase. But there is a way to run the softwares and make them function beyond the trial period. Isn’t this interesting?

Before I tell you how to hack the software and make it run in the trial mode forever, we have to understand the functioning of these softwares. I’ll try to explain this in brief.

When these softwares are installed for the first time, they make an entry into the Windows Registry with the details such as Installed Date and Time, installed path etc. After installation every time you run the software, it compares the current system date and time with the installed date and time. So, with this it can make out whether the trial period is expired or not.

So with this being the case, just manually changing the system date to an earlier date will not solve the problem. For this purpose there is a small Tool known as RunAsDate.

RunAsDate is a small utility that allows you to run a program in the date and time that you specify. This utility doesn’t change the current system date, but it only injects the date/time that you specify into the desired application.

RunAsDate intercepts the kernel API calls that returns the current date and time (GetSystemTime, GetLocalTime, GetSystemTimeAsFileTime), and replaces the current date/time with the date/time that you specify. It works with Windows 2000, XP, 2003 and Vista.

NOTE: FOLLOW THESE TIPS CAREFULLY

You have to follow these tips carefully to successfully hack a software and make it run in it’s trial mode forever.

1. Note down the date and time, when you install the software for the first time.

2. Once the trial period expires, you must always run the software using RunAsDate.

3. After the trial period is expired, do not run the software(program) directly. If you run the software directly even once, this hack may no longer work.

4. It is better and safe to inject the date of the last day in the trial period.

For example, if the trial period expires on jan 30 2009, always inject the date as jan 29 2009 in the RunAsDate. I hope this helps! Please express your experience and opinions through comments.

How To Run Adobe Reader As Fast As Notepad

Well e-books have become an integral part of our daily life and most of them are in .pdf format.

.pdf files are opened and read using Adobe Reader. It is a very good software except the fact that it is extremely slow. I ( http://techfirm.tk) was looking for a solution for the problem ie.. to make Adobe Reader Faster and came up with a pretty simple solution.

This trick will make Adobe Reader as fast as Notepad.

Note:- I tried this trick on Adobe reader 9.0 ( but it works with older versions as well)

1) Go to the installation folder of acrobat reader
(C:\\program files\\adobe\\reader9.0\\reader\\.. whatever)

2) Move all the files and folders from the “plug_ins” directory to the “Optional” directory. (I repeat.. cut and paste the files NOT copy & paste). Also make sure that acrobat reader is not open else it will lock the files and not allow you to move the files).

The Reader may configure itself  once again for the first time you open it. It will just restore the most important files back to “plug_ins” folder.

Now your acrobat reader will load very fast
and almost as good as notepad

How To Add Contents To Right Click Pop-Up

Hey friends, as we all know that windows XP is one of the most popular and most widely used windows of Microsoft Corp. till date. And as we know that more usage leads to more exploitation and hence more hacks.


From now I would be posting a series of windows XP hacks or you can say unexplored Windows XP tricks.


I am sure you are gonna love them. They are very rare and unique tricks.


XP Hacks Series Trick 1:-


Adding Content to Right Click
Once done, you will be able to right click any file or folder and use the Browse for Folder dialog to choose the location you want to move or copy your file or folder to, without having to go to the destination path.


First we will add the copy and move options to the right click menu of all FILES.




CLICK Start>Run, type REGEDIT and click OK to open up the registry editor and make your way to this key:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT->*->shellex->ContextMenuHandlers
Right click the ContextMenuHandlers key and choose New>Key.
Name the new key “Copy To” (without the quotes).
Repeat the above and create another new key named Move To.


You should now have two new subkeys under the ContextMenuHandlers key:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT->*->shellex->ContextMenuHandlers\Copy To
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT->*->shellex->ContextMenuHandlers\Move To
Select the Copy To key and in the right hand pane, double click “Default”


Enter this clsid value as the value data:
{C2FBB630-2971-11d1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}
Next , select the Move To key and in the right hand pane set the default value to:
{C2FBB631-2971-11d1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}


This now takes care of the Copy and Move options for the right click context menu of all your files.
Now all that is left is to add the same options to the right click menu of all your folders.


The procedure will be the same as for files but at a different key:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shellex\ContextMenuHan dlers
Right click ContextMenuHandlers and create a new key named Copy To.
Right click it again and create another new key named Move To.
left click on the right hand pane, add the same default values as you did for Files:


For Copy To:
{C2FBB630-2971-11d1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}
For the Move To:
{C2FBB631-2971-11d1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}
Exit the registry and you are done.


Now when you right click on a file or folder, you should see two new options: Copy to Folder and Move to Folder.

How To Change Log on Screen background in Windows 7

How would you like to change the logon screen background in Windows 7 so as to give your Windows a customized look and feel? With a small tweak it is possible to customize the Windows 7 logon screen and set your own picture/wallpaper as the background. Changing logon screen background in Windows 7 is as simple as changing your desktop wallpaper. Well here is a step by step instruction to customize the logon screen background.

1. The image you need to set as the background should be a .jpg file and it’s size should not exceed 245KB.

2. The image resolution can be anything of your choice. However I prefer 1440 x 900 or1024 x 768. You can use any of the photo editing software such as Photoshop to compress and set the resolution for your image. Once you’re done, save this image asbackgroundDefault.jpg.

3. You will need to copy this image to

C:\Windows\system32\oobe\info\backgrounds

You will need to create that path if it does not already exist on your computer.

4. Now open the Registry Editor (Start -> Run -> Type regedit) and navigate to the following key

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\
LogonUI\Background

If Background does not exist rightclick LogonUI, select New and then Key, and then name it Background. Now locate OEMBackground (listed on the right side). If it does not exist, right-click Background and select New and then DWORD and name it OEMBackground.

5. Double-click on OEMBackground and set the Value Data to 1.

6. Now log-off to see the new logon screen background. If you would like to revert back to the default background, just set the Value Data back to 0.

How To Make Your Computer Speak/Talk Whatever You Type

Hey guyz Setore is back again with something new as usual. I am going to make a post about something off topc. Apart from the Batch Programming Series.

Actually the problem started when I started working on a new project. I had to learn many new things for that and had to read continuously for 5-6 hours sitting infront of my computer. Its a very tiring process and it really had a bad affect on my eye sight. I wished that someone could just read all that for me, the other moment the thought came in my mind that , why can’t my computer speak it up for me. And with a little research I came across something very interesting.

In this post I am going to tell you guyz how to make your computer speak whatever you type… Sounds interesting?

Well read on.. The process is very simple.

This method takes advantage of a built-in API installed on most Windows XP machines called SAPI (Speech Application Programming Interface). 

The Microsoft Speech API is used for the Narrative accessibility feature built into Windows. We can also write programs that call the API, which would allow you to let our computer/laptop speak.

Making your computer say what you want is pretty easy actually!

Here’s how you do it:

1) Open Notepad and type/paste the following text into a new document:

Dim message, sapi
message=InputBox(“Enter the text you want spoken”,”Speak This”)
Set sapi=CreateObject(“sapi.spvoice”)
sapi.Speak message

2) Now when you go to save the file, give it any name, but make sure you also type .VBS after the name. Also, for the Save as type box, choose All files instead of the default Text Documents.

3) After doing this, just run the script. You will come across a box as shown below. Type anything you want in there and have fun. Tho the default voice is quite funny but its fun. Now show this to your friends or just play a prank with them:-P

Note:- In  my view this works only with windows XP. If it works on any other version of windows, do let me know:)

This uses default Windows Narrator functionalities. (Again in XP).You can activiate this from

“Accessories –> Accessibility –> Narrator”

If you want to change the voice, you can download it from microsoft site and then can change it from

“Control Pannel –> Switch to Classical View –> Speech”.

How Does FUD Crypter Work?

The Basic Working Of FUD Crypter is explained below

The Crypter takes the original binary file of you exe and applies many encryption on it and stores on the end of file(EOF).So a new crypted executable file is created.

The new exe is not detected by antiviruses because its code is scrambled by the crypter.When executed the new .exe file decrypts the binary file into small the data small pieces at a time and injects them into another already existing process or a new empty one, OR it drops the code into multiple chunks in alternative data streams(not scanned by most a/v) then executes it as a .txt or .mp3 file.

HOW CAN WE MANUALLY DISTINGUISH

BETWEEN THE ORIGINAL AND

ENCRYPTED FILE?

An important point to note is that though a Crypter hides the code of a file but it cannot hide the size of a file. Thus, if the size of the file we want to crypt is 10kb and the size of the file with which we want to crypt our file is 100kb then the total size of the crypted file would be 100kb+10kb ie… 110kb.

But this difference would be helpful only when you know the size of the original file.

Now coming back to FUD..

What is FUD?

FUD is acronym for Fully Undetectable. With increased use of Crypters to bypass antiviruses, AV (Anti Virus) became more advanced and started including crypter definitions to even detect crypter strings within code. So, use of crypter to hide Ardamax keylogger and RATs became more complicated as nowadays, no publicly available crypter is FUD.

So, if you crypt RATs with publicly available crypters, they are bound to be detected by antiviruses. This is because most FUD crypters remain “FUD” for maximum of one or two days after their public release. To obtain FUD crypters, you have to either search for it in hacking forums or make one (which is somewhat tedius.. I am working on this).

Where can I test Whether my Crypter is FUD or not?

To test you crypter encrypt any virus with it and test it on http://scanner.novirusthanks.org and make sure you check the box  Do not distribute the sample

Note:-Do not test your crypter on http://virustotal.com as it distributes the samples and your crypter will not remain FUD if you scan with virustotal.

As I already mentioned that as the crypter becomes popular it doesnot remain FUD.So the only FUD crypter available are those made by indivuals and they can be found by spending a little time on google by searching.It will not make profit to anybody if I share FUD crypter here used by me as it will not remain FUD for long as some noobs will surely scan it with virustoal.So,its better you search your own and keep it to yourself.

Hey guyz this time Setore has brought something very interesting for you guyz. Many times our hard disk runs out of space and we have to delete some data or the other for no reason. How To Shut Down Ur Computer With A Cell Phone

Hi here I show you how to shutdown your computer from anywhere using a texting capable cell phone, Microsoft Outlook and a free account from www.kwiry.com.


Step 1: Things you will need

1. Make sure you have a Microsoft Outlook account and an e-mail address configured to it. This will not work with other E-mail clients such as Thunderbird because they do not support VB scripting.
2. Then next think you will need is a www.kwiry.com account. This is a free account that will allow you to send it text messages and in response e-mails those messages to your e-mail account.
3. The third thing you will need is a phone that is capable of texting. Please keep in mind that, depending on the cell phone plan you have, sending text messages will incur charges from your cell phone

Step 2: Create the "shutdown.bat" file

The "shutdown.bat" file is a batch file that can allow you to auto-launch applications and perform tasks just by opening it up. You can make this batch file do pretty much any Windows function you want, but for this tutorial, we are going to write a script to shutdown the computer. Here's how:

1. Open up "Notepad" by going to Start > Run > "Notepad" and then click OK.
2. In the notepad editor, type in:

3. Save the file to your computer. You can put it pretty much anywhere on your computer. I put mine on my C: drive.

What this batch file does is it points to the shutdown function on your computer, generally located at c:\windows\system32\shutdown. You may want to double check this, as some computers may have it listed as c:\winnt\system32\shutdown. If this is the case, then you want to change your batch file accordingly. The -s tells it to shutdown the computer. The -f tells it to force the computer to shutdown so that it doesn't get hung on any open applications. The -t sets the time for it to wait before it actually shuts down. You can set it to whatever you want, but I put in 00 to set it to zero.

Step 3: Make sure you have a POP3 capable e-mail acocunt

If you already have Outlook set up to an e-mail account, then skip this step and the next step. If not, then you will need a POP3 capable e-mail account. If you don't have one, then you can sign up for a free Gmail account and then configure it to accept POP3 by doing this:

1. Go to http://www.gmail.com Gmail ] and click on "Settings" in the upper right.
2. On the resulting page, click on "Forwarding and POP/IMAP"
3. Select "Enable POP for all mail" and save your changes.

Step 4: Setup Microsoft Outlook to accept your e-mail account

As mentioned above, if you already have Outlook set up to an e-mail account, you can skip this step. If not, open up Microsoft Outlook (not Outlook Express).

1. If this is your first time opening up Outlook, it will start the e-mail wizard. If it doesn't, go to Tools > E-mail Accounts > Add A New Account > Pop 3
2. Set up the Pop 3 account by entering in your user information (for help using Gmail, refer to Gmail's documentation for setting up a POP3 account.

Step 5: Get a "Kwiry" account.

Now what you will need to do is sign up for a Kwiry account. Feel free to read the information about it on their website, but basically Kwiry is a service that forwards text messages to your e-mail account. That is what we're going to be using it for. If you have e-mailing capabilities on your cell phone, then just send an e-mail to your Outlook account and bypass this step.

Step 6: Set up an Outlook Rule

This is the most important step of the tutorial. This will tell Outlook that once it receives an e-mail containing a certain subject line to launch the "shutdown.bat" file we created to shutdown the computer. Here's the steps:

1. Go to Send/Receive and select Send/Receive Settings > Define Send/Receive Groups.
2. Check the box that says "Schedule an automatic Send/Receive every" and then set the number box to "1 minutes" so that it checks for new e-mail messages every minute. Then click "Close".
3. Now go to Tools > Rules and Alerts. In the window that pops up, select "New Rule".
4. Select "Start from a blank rule" and make sure it's set to "Check messages when they arrive" and click Next.
5. The next page will let you select the conditions, so you want to check the box that says "with specific words in the subject line".
6. Now at the bottom of the window, click on the "specific words" link and it will allow you to enter the subject line that you want it to look for. For this instance, we want it to look for the Kwiry e-mail that we will be sending it. The subject line of that e-mail will read "your kwiry - shutdown" so enter that as the specific words and click Add and OK. Then click Next.
7. On the next page, we will be selecting the action we want it to do. For this project, we want to select "start an application". Click on the "application" link at the bottom of the window now and navigate it to the shutdown.bat file that we created. Note that you will have to change the File Select filter from "Applications (.exe)" to "All Files". Now just click Next and Finish

Step 7: Send a text message

The lest step, obviously, is to send a text message. So pull out your texting capable cell phone and send a text message with the words "shutdown" to your Kwiry account (which will be 59479).

Step 8: Conclusion

You can either literally use this tutorial as a means to shutdown your computer, or you can use this as a proof of concept. You can use this method to auto-start almost any application and do various other tasks. Before you know it, you may be able to control your entire computer using just your cell phone.
